A charter company
you fly yourself.
A business-aviation career and company sim for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, in one world shared by every player. Win trips from clients with real lives, plan every leg in SimBrief, fly it in real time, and grow from a freelance seat to a fleet of your own.
People with lives, not a list of routes
Every client is a person the world keeps: a home and a business, a family, a team they follow. Their trips come out of their lives (a deal to close in Austin, a road game from the real schedule, a week in Aspen), and they remember who flew them well.
- Road trips from the leagues' real schedules; race weekends, conferences and summits from real event listings
- Real weather: the hour's METARs and TAFs in every briefing, and storms that move the work
- Loyalty to each operator: a client who likes you books you first, and one you let down tries someone else
- Interests you learn by flying them (a golfer, a motorsport lover, an art collector): an event they love pulls them from much further away
- Loyal clients hand you their business card, printed in their company's own style: collect them Next alpha

From the board to the bank
Every trip runs on real-world UTC time, from the client's request to the money in your ledger. The guide goes through every part of the app.
Win the trip
A client posts a charter, or invites bids for a team's road game or an event. The first valid claim wins.
Dispatch
Plan the leg in SimBrief, read the weather at both ends, and order the fuel the plan needs.
Fly it
Block out to block in, tracked as you fly: the times, the fuel, the landing and how the passengers rode.
Settle up
Revenue in; fuel, fees, crew and reserves out. Your reputation with the client moves with how it went.
Grow
Buy, finance or lease aircraft, hire crews, open an FBO, and take on bigger clients.
Planned like a real departure
Each leg opens in SimBrief already filled in. Fetch the plan and Charter Inc checks it against the trip, draws the route on the map the way SimBrief does, and orders the fuel the plan calls for at the FBO you pick.
- Weather for the departure, the destination and the alternate: METARs and TAFs decoded, in their flight-category colours
- Every waypoint, VOR and NDB on the map, the top of climb and descent, and the route to the alternate
- A leg too long for the aircraft offers fuel stops along the way, each with its runway and distances

Every landing counts
The tracker follows your flight from block out to block in, in real time, and judges it as a client would: the touchdown, how the passengers rode, how the aircraft was handled. Clients remember, and so does your reputation.
- The touchdown rate and g of every landing: a smooth one helps your reputation, a hard one costs it
- Passenger comfort on NASA's ride-quality scale: turbulence, steep banks and fast cabin pressure changes
- Every flight checked on the server: one that doesn't add up is held for review, so nobody climbs the shared world by cheating

One board, many operators
Open charters, freelance gigs for the operators around you, and tenders for teams and events. Every company reads the same board; the world's operators take what players leave, and a region nobody serves starts paying more.
- Sealed bids on tenders, picked by the client's own taste: price, aircraft, reputation and loyalty
- Freelance gigs: fly the operators' aircraft around you for 25% of each charter, and earn new ratings by checkride
- The board's map shows the world's flights in the air and, if you fly online, which VATSIM controllers are on

Freelance, or your own aircraft
Once your company is made, choose how it starts. Freelance, you fly the operators' aircraft around you for 25% of each charter: no aircraft, no debt. Or take the lessor's aircraft at your home base, from a piston single to a light jet, on a lease-to-buy with no deposit.
- A payment every week for 7 years, then a final 10% of the price makes it yours, or buy it out sooner
- The ratings it needs from the first day, their course fees on a weekly training loan
- Each aircraft shows its week and the paid hours that cover it: about $1,400 for a Titan 404, about $29,700 for a Citation CJ4
- Fly enough to cover the week: miss three payments in a row and the lessor takes it back

Real numbers, real decisions
Charter rates, fuel, fees, salaries, insurance and financing start from 2026 real-world figures. A jet that flies earns its keep; one that sits on the ramp costs you every day. Grow from your first aircraft to a fleet with crews, hangars and FBOs of your own.
- Fuel at the real US jet fuel price, updated daily, plus each FBO's own markup
- The empty flight home is part of the game: fly it back empty, or sell it as an empty leg
- 137 aircraft types with their official figures, new from the factory or used, with their hours and condition, bought, financed or leased
- Monthly profit and loss, cash flow, a balance sheet, and the cost per hour of each aircraft; loans priced by your reputation

No time acceleration. No lost flights.
Trips run on real UTC time, and a sim rate other than 1×, or slew, voids the flight. A pause, a sim crash or a closed app never does: the flight waits where it was, as long as it takes.
Every company in the same world

Before you fly
Do I need to be online?
Yes. Charter Inc is one world shared by every player, kept on our server. If your connection drops mid-flight, the flight keeps recording on your PC and is sent when it's back.
How much does it cost?
The alpha, opening soon, is free: play the whole game and tell us what breaks, so we can fix it before the release. From the release, Charter Inc is US$5.99 a month, the first 7 days free, and you can cancel any time. Alpha players can join then with a significant discount on their first year.
Where is my progress saved?
On our server, with your account: sign in from another PC and your company is there. A flight in progress is also kept on your PC until the server has it.
Where do I make my company?
In the app, the first time you sign in: a name, a three-letter code (your flights file as ABC123), a callsign for the radio, and a home base at any airport.
Do I start with an aircraft?
You choose. Freelance, you start with no aircraft and no debt, flying the operators' aircraft for a share of each charter. Or in your own: a piston single up to a light jet, waiting at your home base on a lease-to-buy with no deposit, paid every week, which a final payment makes yours after 7 years. The ratings it needs come at once, their course fees on a training loan. Each aircraft shows its week and the paid hours a week that cover it; miss three payments in a row and the lessor takes it back.
Can I speed up time?
No. Trips run on real-world UTC time, and a sim rate other than 1×, or slew, voids the flight. A long leg is a long evening, as it is for a real crew.
What if the sim crashes in the middle of a flight?
Nothing is lost. A pause, a crash to the desktop or a closed app suspends the flight at its last position and state, with no time limit: restore the aircraft and carry on. Only crashing the aircraft voids a flight.
Which aircraft can I fly?
Business aviation, from single-engine pistons and turboprops to ultra-long-range jets, each type with its official figures (range, speed, runway, fuel). You fly it in MSFS 2024, and Charter Inc matches it to its type.
Do add-on aircraft work?
Yes, for the types Charter Inc knows. The app recognises the aircraft you load by its title and model, and takes the type's figures from its own table, not from the add-on.
Do I need VATSIM?
No. If you fly on VATSIM, the board's map can show which controllers are online, so you can pick work where there's ATC.
Can I fly with friends?
You share the world: the same board, the same clients, the same market, and you compete for the same jobs and tenders. Each of you flies in your own sim; to fly side by side, use the sim's own multiplayer or VATSIM.
What does my company do while I'm not flying?
It keeps running in real time: the bank, salaries and hangar rent by the hour, clients booking, and other companies taking the jobs you leave.
Is it on Xbox?
No. Charter Inc is a Windows app that runs beside the sim and reads it through SimConnect, which the Xbox doesn't allow.
